The consumer seems to be in a ping-pong match between internet providers, router companies and printer companies. I am troubled in that I had already called my internet provider (SHAW) to see if they had changed anything and the answer was no. If 1 of the 3 parties involved had done that, I would have been up and running much sooner! Maybe all companies involved could post the solution for specific customers earlier than in my case. They had received at least 5 other calls from SHAW customers with this problem. I am happy that HP telephone support helped me, even with having to pay. The good news for HP and myself is that I purchased a 2 year support plan, so that I won't time again - hopefully! A change must have occurred between my internet provider and the ARRIS router. Very early on Feb 26, I telephoned HP support, paid for a service call, and the solution was to change to router security type to WPA from WPA2. I had already tried what you suggested, two days ago. ![]()
